I bought this product, and the AC adapter was defective. I went back for a replacement, and have received this message:

The P-Asus Eee PC 1005HA is a good buy. Make sure you get the model with the P-bla-bla. If you do not start with P, is a model weaker.

Strengths
Long battery life.
Lightweight and robust.
Start fast and do basic computing like a champion.

However, you must have 2 GB of Ram. Otherwise, this PC is unable to handle some commands, such as video playback decent.

The Toshiba netbook has met all expectations, except the speaker with a low volume and sound quality. I use external speakers for music and movies.

I ordered the Toshiba netbook, after looking for the last two months for a laptop to replace my college bound son. I will not go into technical details, as most netbooks are very similar, however, the keyboard and battery life were the main factors in my decision to buy this netbook. This netbook has exceeded my expectations and I recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, feature-rich netbook with a long battery life. I just wish I had Windows 7 on this netbook but I'm still happy with Windows XP.

AC / DC power adapter / cable stopped working after about 2 weeks. I first tried the Internet service to customers the RMA request unanswered. Then I called customer service. I just spent over an hour on the phone trying to get my power cord replaced. They have so many requests for Powercords are back ordered. I was told that it could be a month before he would be able to send another vessel. Are now poised to return 1005HA on Amazon, because I do not want to wait a month for my computer running.
